When you take your kindle device outside and you are using it without a charger, the battery power can quickly use up after a period of time. When the battery is at a low level it will alert you of low power. You will get message like the below:
Critical Battery
Your battery is empty.
However, when you got home, you plug in the Amazon charger but your device is not charging. If this happens to you then this is what you could try.
1. Slide and hold the Power button for around 30 seconds.
2. Now release the Power button and wait for at least 20 seconds until you see the screen flashing.
3. After the flashing, immediately plugin the charger and have it charge for more then 3 hours.
