So you have just got the iPad and you are playing around with the device, you then wanted to watch some video files on YouTube but suddenly you could not find the Youtube icon anywhere. Here is a few things you can do:
- The YouTube icon may be accidentally place in a folder, so browser a few folders and see if you could find it.
- The icon could be misplaced on a different Home screen, so use your finger and flip the screen left and right and see if you could locate it.
- Another possible solution is to ensure that it is not in the app restriction list. This restriction list basically disable YouTube and won't allow you to use it. To enable it, here's how:
1. Go to the Home screen.
2. Tap on Settings.
3. Tap on General.
4. Next tap on Restriction.
5. Then tap on Enable Restriction.
6. Enter in the password when prompt.
7. Under Enable Restriction screen ensure that the YouTube selection is switch to Off.
Now go back to the Home screen and see if you can locate the icon.
Leave a comment if you got other ways to solve the issue.
