Set restriction to the specified apps on the iPad 2 to prevent other people from using unwanted application on your devices. So what can restrisction of an app can do for you? For example if you let someone borrow your iPad, you do not want them to use YouTube because with YouTube download your data usage can runout quickly. Another example is that if some one unintentionally installing some malicious app on the device it could damage the operating system and make the device inoperable. Here's how you can set restriction:
1. Go to the Home screen by pressing the Home button.
2. Tap on Settings.
3. Select General.
4. Tap on Restrictions.
5. Then tap on Enable Restriction.
6. Now put in the passcode twice.
Once you have set the passcode, you can scroll down the screen and select what you want to restrict.

If you later you want to undo the restriction you will have to in the passcode to enable the app again.
