If the you are not happy with the current VPN setup on the iPad 2 you could delete it and start a new one. Once the VPN connection is deleted you will not be able to safely communicating other computer until you have setup a new VPN. Here's how:

1. Press the Home screen button.

2. Select Settings.

3. Then tap on General.

4. Select Network.

5. Then select VPN.

6. Under your current VPN setting, tap on the blue right arrow.

7. Then go down to the bottom of the screen and tap on Delete VPN.

Now your existing VPN connection has been removed.
