You can make FaceTime call on iPad 2 so that both party could talk and see the video of each other at the same time. Video chat seem to be the way of the future now. With video chat now you can see what the other person looks like, and while chatting you can see the expression on their face, and that just add alot meaning to the conversation.
With FaceTime you have the option to use either the front or the back camera, and you can even switch between them during the conversation. With the front camera the other person can see you while chatting and with the back camera you can show them your surrounding while telling where you are.
For FaceTime to work both party must use the FaceTime services. You will first need to create an account and then login before you could start to make the first call.
- If you haven't create an account, then create one first.
- If you haven't sign in then sign in. You only have to sign in once.
Now here's how to make FaceTime call:
1. Go to the Home screen.
2. Tap on FaceTime to open the app.
3. Next tap on the Contact button at the bottom of the screen.
4. Select a contact from the list that you wish to make the call.
The call will now be initiated. Once the call has been established you will see a control panel where you could mute a call, end the call and switch the camera.
Other things you could do in the FaceTime app is to manage the contact, add them to the favorite list and share a contact detail to the other people.
