There is a review of Logitech's new webcam (The QuickCam Orbit) on Tom's hardware.  According to them this is an actual descent piece of equipment if you can call a webcam useful. Supposedly this things does a good job tracking your face and movng with it to keep your face front and center. I don't know how it works when I am trying to moon the person on the other end. Maybe it would become centered on my ass and autofocus on it only.

Here is what Tom's hardware had to say:

The Logitech QuickCam Orbit is a great high-end Webcam which stands out from the rest by an amazing technical innovation. The Face-tracking function combined with an automatic zoom keeps you in full-face focus all the time, so you really can have a face-to-face discussion with someone. And if you want to send a video-mail of the kids, then Orbit will make the job easy for you. This is all on top of its excellent sound and image quality. With broadband, essential for proper videoconferencing, and MSN Messenger, you can add chat capabilities to video conferencing.
