Google, I have something to tell you and I'm not sure how to say it.  We have been together for several years now since my bad breakup with Yahoo, and I don't know where I would be without you.  Every day from the first thing in the morning you are there for me answering life's questions and being my companion.

You never rub it in my face when I forget an important date, you just gently remind me of what time of year it is or what Holiday we are upon.  When I don't know much about the day you point me in the direction of the information I want.

Year after year you give me new reasons to love you.  You let me search for Shipping Numbers from the companies that deliver the items I find in the catalogs you show me.  You let me translate those silly Japanese pages with so much glorious information about strange gizmos.  You let me satisfy that developer itch that can only be scratched with a good API.  You save me literally dozens of seconds per day with your IE Toolbar.  Your present me with all my news from all over the world in one convenient place.  After all that if I cannot find what I am looking for you give me a means of asking for answers from the community as a whole.

You are my calculator, my dictionary, my Phone Book, my Spell Checker, my backup plan, my broker, my travel planner, and my personal ego stroker.  Now you let me search for books full of hilarious knock-knock jokes so that I can get that perfect book for myself or a friend.

Google, you are the place I trust on the Internet.  I hope you never break that trust.  I just wanted to let you know that I love you, and I might just be slightly obsessed with you.

Love,
Josh
