The latest beta of Amethyst (our IDE for developing Flex, AIR and ActionScript applications) includes auto-expanding snippets or ‘code templates'. And, if you want to create your own snippets, it also has a snippet editor... Snippets are great time-savers. They give you a way of entering long code blocks without having to enter it longhand.
