Several of the companies that design eVoting solutions are starting to work together to create a set of specifications and requirements for then to work with.  I've talked about this before, and I assure you I am not on my pulpit all day screaming the benefits of open source, but if there is one application of open source this should be it.  Hiring professionals to get a project started and then letting the academic community go through the code is the only fair way to deal with something as sensitive as voting.  I trust the country as a whole over a corporation any day of the week in this situation.  [READ]
