Oh the irony, considering the topic of my previous post. That aside, I'm happy to announce that the new Evolt Web development community site has just been released. And what a change it is. Some of the many new features include:

• A highly customized Drupal CMS front end.
• Markup is now tableless XHTML.
• Layout and presentation are completely CSS based.
• Dedicated hosting provided by ServerMatrix (aka the Planet).
• All code and content is now under Version Control.

loadaverageZero (and thus this blog) are also hosted by the Planet. Good choice! Keep in mind as you visit the site and look around, this is a brand new release, so there are bound to be problems as they test, adjust and improve the system. All in all, I think it's looking good and I'm happy to see Evolt back up and running again. Remember, this is a community driven Web site so I encourage you to contribute in any way you can. If you don't have the time or expertise to pitch in and help directly, make a small contribution or buy some swag.
