I bought a new car today! Well, I should say I put money down on a new car today. Specifically, a 2005 Toyota Prius with the "AM" package. It will be anywhere from 2 to 8 months for delivery, depending on how lucky I am. Sorry, no BlueTooth for me. Ain't worth $3k.
I currently own the 2001 model and have loved it. I want one of the newer models because it:
Gets better mileage
Has better suspension (smoother ride)
Has more interior space (back seats fold down)
Comes with cruise control
Has more power
Looks cooler
That being said, the 2001 model is still a great car IMHO, and will need a new, loving owner soon.
In some ways, I suspect this car will be like my computer - an upgrade every 4 years or so. :)
