Here is a bunch of modes to help you be more productive when you are coding Ruby. These modes have been tested on Emacs 21.3.1.

  • ruby-mode: This is the default ruby-mode thats written by Matz himself.
  • ruby-electric: This is another cool mode that works along with the ruby-mode. This mode will auto-complete and auto-insert.
  • pabbrev: Predictive abbreviation expansion. This will scan all the open buffers and auto complete the word you are typing.
