I have a new cube neighbor as of this morning. While digging through everything that was left behind, he discovered a couple interesting things.

One thing he found was two unopened copies of Forte Developer 6, with licenses. These were ordered in June of 2000. Who's gonna miss these? Mine now. :)

The other thing was a copy of Sybase, again from 2000. Not as exciting, but I'll take it anyway.

I've heard you can't build Ruby with Sun's compiler, so I'm itching to try it now and see what happens.
