It appears I was kick/banned from freenode last night. For some reason they thought I was a clonebot. I'm not sure why, although I was futzing around with ZoneAlarm for a while, and that screwed me up a couple times.

At work, I can no longer connect with xchat, or I would try to rectify the situation with someone on #freenode. My guess is they're blocking traffic on port 6667, but that's a guess. Not that I was on IRC while at work very often, in case you were wondering. For work, I generally reserved it for programming or computer "emergencies", such as when I get stuck on a particular bit of code, or when a Solaris package decides to core dump on me.

I guess without IRC I'll....actually be constructive? Hmm....maybe I *shouldn't* ask to get back on. ;)
