David Heinemeier Hansson has made the first public release of Action Pack, the web framework side of Rails. I’ll play with it this weekend – I have high expectations, after David’s ActiveRecord package completely turned me around on the value of ORM’s.

In related news, ActiveRecord 0.9 is just out, supporting thread safety and improving performance significantly. Its going to be a big weekend for Ruby library spelunking. In my sad little world, that makes for a pretty good weekend.

I’m going to regret writing that last sentence in times to come.
