Preregistration for the Fourth International Ruby Conference has begun. Please go and take a look. If you've been to a previous RubyConf then you know how much fun they are. If not, make this your first.
The weather should be quite nice, and it is a beautiful area. It's fairly close to Washington, D.C., so consider coming early or staying late to have time for side trips. (It's also right next to Manassas, with lots of American Civil War history.)
(Sadly, the conference is too late in the year for any Potomac Cannons games.)
Please note that conference preregistration does not entail any financial transactions or commitment. The conference organizers are looking to get an idea of how many people to expect and to start sorting out the speaker schedule. In fact, if are not planning to attend, you should still drop by the pre-reg site, as there is an option to let the organizers know just why you want to miss the fun.
