The fourth meeting of the Kraków Ruby Users Group – this time a presentation session aimed at beginners. Thanks to the hospitality of Akademia Ekonomiczna in Kraków, we could use a comfortable medium-size lecture room, which easily accommodated about 50 people who turned up.

The meeting lasted three hours and we delivered four speeches:

  1. “Introduction to ruby” by Olek Pohl
  2. “Introduction to rails” by me
  3. “ActiveRecord” by Maciek Książek
  4. “Views” by Bartek Knapik

We intend to create a satisfaction poll to see whether our idea of a meeting for beginners was useful. In particular, we’d like to know whether it would make sense to continue with another introductory session.

We took some pictures, I’ll make an update when they’re posted.

And here goes my presentation: Introduction to Ruby on Rails
