Standup Token Safety

If you're going to use a standup token, then by all means supply the team with hand sanitizer. There's nothing worse than taking the token from someone who's just coughed and wiped snot all over it.

Our old standup token was the ThoughtWorks-autographed football in the foreground, but we replaced it with the 10 pound medicine ball right behind it. Note: Medicine balls make great developer toys and are great for ad-hoc exercising during the day!
