I had to go into work yesterday because a bunch of reports started failing on our new RHEL server. It turned out that the password expired for the account we created specifically for running reports. This, apparently, causes RHEL to not execute programs in the crontab. In one case, it seemed to try to run the report as root, while most simply never ran at all.

I think I'm going to scream.
