Original Post: Andrew Dudzik on Ruby
Feed Title: Obie On Rails (Has It Been 9 Years Already?)
Feed URL: http://jroller.com/obie/feed/entries/rss
Feed Description: Obie Fernandez talks about life as a technologist, mostly as ramblings about software development and consulting. Nowadays it's pretty much all about Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
Andrew was one of my star students at TWU and is now on a huge Ruby/RoR project. He's started blogging recently, but not yet added to the TW aggregator. He recently posted this gem (no pun intended) about weird metaprogramming bugs in Ruby, which he wraps up with the quotable:
I think I should reread what Why has to say about starmonkeys and smile at how I used to doubt that Ruby was as powerful as they say.
Definitely go read the post if you're interested in Ruby quirks.
