Ok, still very busy ( but things will be better next week, really ). Thijs and Manfred, high on MultiByte-laced meth organised a little morning coffee drinking session with other dutch Rails devs and it was just grand. Things did get grim when a rather petit coffee serving lady asked us to yield ! Yield, surely ? And so we did.
We we’re blocking her path to a mysterious closet which she frequented often to dabble with even more mysterious things. Rumour has it Django developers were coming as well but I tell you, that closet might have hold a couple ! The mythical Seaside demo did not come forth but a Smalltalk book was handled with much love and care, Manfred even explains how to close it !

....and yes, they did coerce me into promising to continue Rails Core Weekly.

(what about that doctor ? Well, the esteemed Dr. Nic was there, they had to break open fresh new packs of napkins just for him. Next time I’ll bring a pack of CRC cards. )
