Ivan K sent along word that he's created a new project in rubyforge aiming to bring Haskell-like functional idioms to Ruby. For those interested in stuff like this, please be sure to check out his new project: Prelude.

I believe his work is sort of an extension of some of the discussions that were thrown around Monads in Ruby (especially from MentalGuy).
