Ryan Davis wrote about risearch; I thought quite neat, and decided to see how well it might work on ruby-doc.org.

I happened to mention it on the ruby-doc mailing list. I thought it would be of interest given the particular thread. But it was not meant as a formal announcement; the R-D version is a quick hack, little more than wrapping thin HTML around the results. The rendering looks like crap. Lots of pre formatting.
