I just received word that my RubyConf 2006 proposal was not accepted. I was going to give a presentation on developing Web applications with Og/Nitro, with examples from personal and production use, but it is not to be.

Oh well.

Giving a talk is always something of a mixed pleasure. Overall, I enjoy it, but there's also a fair amount of work involved.

Anyway, I expect the conference to be quite good, and hope that, whatever the talks, they help expose people to the diverse world of Ruby development.
