I almost missed my flight to the conference because, while heading East on Highway 70 to get to the airport, there were two car accidents and a dirt spill that forced the police to shut down the highway! Fortunately, I arrived at the gate while they're still boarding. Good thing I left early, eh?
I stayed with a relative of my co-worker for the night who had no air conditioning - ugh. Considering that it was about 95 degrees out with no breeze, this was painful. At least we got some good Indian food before we went to bed.
