I'm really enjoying working with Floyd Marinescu as the Ruby editor for InfoQ.com. Floyd has put a good, cohesive team of editors together and I think we're off to a good start building a great new brand you can trust for good content. The word is getting out and we had over 23,000 unique visitors in the last 4 weeks!

I have some additional stats to share, which I'm really proud of. Here is a list of the top five content items, excluding news (by unique visitor count):

  1. /articles/Brasilian-Healthcare-System 6340
  2. /minibooks/JTDS 4013
  3. /articles/Agile-Asset-Management (with Rake) 3650
  4. /articles/Ruby-and-Rails-In-your-face 1758
  5. /articles/Evolutionary-integration 1487

That's 2 out of 5 top items out of the Ruby queue! Granted, I don't have as much competition as some of the other guys, but the raw numbers still give a good indicator of the interest level being pretty high.

You folks with real-world Rails projects should check out the latest Ruby queue article, by Dr. Stefan Kaes of the rails-core team. Read A Look at Common Performance Problems in Rails
