As the subject says, the Fixtures capability of Rails for unit and functional testing works just fine with CSV data. File that little fact away in the "if what you're trying to do is painful, maybe you're doing it wrong" and "types of pain incurred about a year into usage of a framework when you hardly ever look at the documentation anymore".
