Ritual Latte

Nate and I headed over to Ritual to meet up with Kirin Dave and found ourselves attending the inaugural(?) io language user group meeting. Ulysses (of Rails-core team) was there too and gave me my first taste of Io, followed by some more basic instruction directly from Steve. It's pretty cool. Unfortunately I'm about to board the red-eye back to Chicago so I can't say anymore, but I'm sure I'll blog about it more later on in the year. My impression was that Io is to Lisp as Ruby is to Smalltalk.
