Hate the game, as they say.

I watched "This Week" with George Stephanopoulos this morning. He did an interview with Bill Gates. They didn't talk much about Microsoft or the Windows operating system. Instead, they talked about charity and Bill Gate's role in World Health, where MS has apparently donated over six billion dollars (though I think that amount was split between domestic education and world health - I'd have to check).

In fact, George half joked that Bill Gates is more important to world health than the W.H.O. is. And yes, that can be taken as a damning indictment of the W.H.O., but as Bill points out, the W.H.O. is nothing without government support. One of his primary goals is to get governments (and private individuals, probably) more involved in the W.H.O. in general.

So, before you secretly pray for the demise of Microsoft, it's at least something to consider. If they would just make "Microsoft Linux", we could call off this silly little OS war. ;)
