Day before.

Started with lunch at Satkar with [info]mayuresh. Fish thali and some shark thing (what was it called?). Later headed to Goregaon west for some peeyush.

Next, headed to Bandra to say hi to the Pinstorm folks. It was about 17:30 and I had no idea what to do next (Toto’s, which is just opposite, hadn’t opened yet). Called [info]freegeek; he was going to watch his second movie at INOX. So I headed to Globus just so I could kill two hours or so. So I ended up watching Garam Masala.

Called [info]freegeek after the movie, who told me he was at Boat Club. Met [info]solzaire and another friend there. Not much crowd there and the music sucked. As we were about to leave, they started playing Floyd and stuff — so we had a couple more pints there.

Toto’s was packed, so they wouldn’t let more folks in. So we headed to Club IX. Music was okay, but the place sucked — it felt like a dance bar playing classic rock. [info]solzaire said the crowd comes in after 23:00 — now that amused me, as it would to anybody living in Bangalore.

Next we headed to Toto’s which, at this time, was thankfully less crowded. Finally a place that felt like a pub! [info]solzaire left after a while.

It was around 00:15 or so at this time. [info]freegeek and I headed to Temptations next. Turned out they were closed. So next stop was Janata Bar, where we had booze and some decent food.

That’s four places we boozed at so far. Unfortunately, it was too late for me to head home (no trains). After an hour or so, we were at Velvet Lounge in Renaissance. They wouldn’t let us in at first (stags and all that), but they let us in later. Nice place, and Nikhil Chinappa isn’t a bad DJ. We were there till the end (05:30 or so).

At least now you’d imagine it was the end, but no — next stop was Laxmi Punjab. More booze and good food. By the time we were done it was 07:30 or so. It amused me to see daylight.

No, there’s no more. I reached home at 09:30 or so. That’s about 24 hours without sleep, and around 12 hours of booze and stuff.
