Feed Description: New and updates for the Ruby Documentation Project web site.
Real Soon Now (tm), ruby-doc will be hosting the Why Ruby? files currently over on RubyForge. This means adding a new link someplace. Meanwhile, the link to the 1.9 API docs, which mysteriously vanished a month or so ago, is back due to popular demand. Overall, the menu bar has grown a bit unwieldy. As there have been a few comments indicating that these links were not sufficiently self-descriptive, the menu has been replaced by a set of boxes, one for each main area of the site.
Links that used to work before should still work now. Certain things (such as the Why Ruby? section), have placeholder pages. The About page needs more information on the outstanding efforts underway by Gavin Sinclair, James Edward Gray II, and others to improve the current API documentation.
Completion of such details are forthcoming as time allows.
