So I've been granted a beta developer account on Ning. As best I understand this, the site allows one to create hosted "social software" apps using PHP and some Ning markup language. Developers can create new apps by cloning existing apps and then hacking on the code.
I suppose the first order of business is to figure out how to write stuff in Ruby and have it automagically translated into PHP. At least until there is an Og/Nitro-based Ning.
