Derek Haynes of Highgroove Studios is resurrecting the Atlanta Ruby Users Group and I'm happy to announce that yours truly will present Ruby on Rails at the next meeting, scheduled for October 4th 2005 in the Perimeter area. Unless the audience is completely new to Rails and requires a detailed introduction, I'm planning to talk mostly about my real-world development experience over the last few months (essentially the second-half of my Minneapolis talk last week). We're also going to discuss renaming the group to atlanta.rb and decide on topics for future meetings. If you're in the Atlanta area, don't miss your opportunity to drop by and see what all this Ruby on Rails excitement is about. Food and refreshments provided.

Details here.
