I’ve talked to numerous people about the ‘Where are all the European Web Startups’-Issue. Most of them were saying that they would never start a own business venture without forming a limited liability company (GmbH here in Germany), which requires 25,000 Euro.

People seem to be extremly scared of getting into legal trouble, especially with that whole patent debate going on.

I’m wondering, how do people in the US feel about this? Are you afraid of getting into legal trouble?
