I noticed today that my blog still doesn’t write any entries by itself (but given the power of Typo and RoR i wouldn’t be too surprised if it does), but I thought it might be a good idea to stop by and give a brief update.
I’ve been almost unbelievably busy the last few weeks. Next Wednesday, I’ll be attending Minervaskolan’s board of directors to give a demonstration on the in-house CMS I’m currently developing, and I actually think it’s going to kick ass. The finished product will be a multi-user CMS with plenty of room for access control, and a publishing interface that (hopefully) will be almost ridiculously simple. Add drag-and-drop image publishing, AJAX spell checking and other fancy Rails/Script.aculo.us coolness, and you’ll have something that resembles the final product. Or, at least that’s what I’m aiming for, and considering the unbelievable efficiency of Rails, it actually feels like a very realistic goal. In the end, it will most likely end up as a part of a neat learning platform – but that’s in a more distant future :)
