Peter Johansson has taken the excellent initiative to start a tiny Swedish Rails community! At the moment there is only a mailing list and an IRC channel, and there are only five members... but at least it's a good start!

Personally, I think a local community is a very good idea. The official Rails mailing list and IRC channel are awesome and excellent for discussing stuff that's directly related to Rails, but thanks to the recent buzz they have grown a lot. That's definately a good thing, but it makes it more necessary to have something smaller and cozier as well. So, if you like Rails and feel a bit Swedish, don't hesitate to join us :)
