OK, Apple have done it again. I so have to buy one of these:
Seriously, I think the Mighty Mouse seems brilliant. The one-button mouse simply isn't enough these days, but not because of the absence of a right button - that part actually is quite well-compensated for by Apple's UI design guidelines - but rather for the absence of a scrolling aid. On the other hand, the design is comfortable and provides the best grip variation on the market (and it matters a lot for RSI sufferers like me). High-end mice such as the MX 1000 simply suck when it comes to grip variation.
As a matter of fact, I was very close to purchasing a Logitech V500, which also is an awesome product, when Apple spoiled everything by making their release. Now I'll have to wait until I get my hands on one of these until I can make my decision - but I've got the feeling the race is pretty much won already :)
