I installed Tor and Privoxy today. Yep, it does work. Connections definitely take longer, though. The other quirk is that, if sites like google.com think you're coming from a Japanese IP, for example, it will give you the Japanese version of their web page.

Anyway, I'm now surfing & irc'ing anonymously because, um, I can.
