Here's an oldie but a goodie:
module Foo
   extend self
   def test_a
      puts "Hello"
   end
   def test_b
      puts "World"
   end
end

puts Foo.test_a # "Hello"
puts Foo.test_b # "World"

This allows you to avoid declaring module_function for each of your methods. Less typing is good. :)
