I received a new iBook from Apple, a G4 1.2 MHz with 256 MB of RAM (already ordered 512 more from Apple Store), built-in Airport Extreme, a combo drive, etc. The whole she-bang! I'm pretty happy, because my iBook G3's logic board failed during the last week of June for the 4th time in less than three years. I called Apple and they said they would send me a brand new one.
Now, I've pretty got it up and running again, I had backed my home directory to my iPod, so restoring was quicker and rather pain-free. I've installed the programs I need: Adium X, GNU Emacs, NetNewsWire, mplayer, XCode, MacIrssi, etc. I also installed Ruby, RubyGems and now I'm typing this in rjournal!
