My body is strange. I was in Wisconsin for nine days. When I returned and stepped on the scale I realized I had gained eight pounds.
Eight pounds in nine days?! WTF?!
Talking with my cube neighbor at work, we both agreed this must be water weight, i.e. consuming large amounts of sodium (fish fries, beer, cheese curds, etc), while drinking very little water.
Yesterday I ate light, drank lots of water and worked out like a maniac. This morning the scale told me that I had lost 6.5 of those 8 pounds.
