Rubyist Brian Marick is writing a book, Driving Projects with Examples, and is making the beta-version of the book available, free, on-line.

I am writing a book titled Driving Projects with Examples: a Handbook for Agile Teams. I'm putting up chapter drafts here, hoping for comments.

 

In this book, I'm going to document a particular style of software development. In it, teams collaborate to drive development with a series of self-checking examples (sometimes called "customer tests" or "storytests"). Programmers, working in a tight iterative loop, make the product match the examples.
