Well, it had to happen eventually... I learned yesterday that Friday the 15th would be my last day at work, the technician I'm covering for is coming back on the 18th. I'm a little sad about that, but it's life, she had to come back at some point. So what's next? Well first, there this other technician who had been hired to cover for two other techs. I've been there longer, so will they break the contract he signed and give me the job or will they honour the contract and put me out of work? We don't know yet because there was no one from human resources yesterday.
If I don't get that guy's job, I'm back on the job market. I sent a resume for a programmer-analyst job at CEZinc, I think I have good chances, but I'm pretty sure I'm gonna need to start sending a lot of resumes again.
