Second day of the CSI Asia Computer Security Conference 2004. The first speaker, from Britain, was rather entertaining and his talk was well received.

The second speaker, from Italy, suffered initially from an accent that was unfamiliar to most locals. I reckon locals hear such an accent only on late night American sitcoms featuring caricatures of Italian-Americans. Got better as he went on. The talk was somewhat more technical than the rest.

The third speaker is from the US and spoke on IT security governance. He wasn't helped by the fact that his talk was scheduled right after a self-help buffet lunch.

Fourth speaker, also from the US, was poor. He mostly equated the terms "shareware" and "freeware" with malware and "joked" that these "marginally useful software that you download from the Internet" install adware/spyware by default unless you pay for them. Duh!
