Yet again I'm singing the praises of installer software. Inno Setup has a wizard which makes it so easy to use. It managed to pack the 5.2MB package created by py2exe into a 2.9MB setup.exe. There was a problem with the default startup directory, but that was answered in the FAQ.

So that's the packaging of Corvids solved.
