People should be asking theirselves why I have been so quiet. I had a
lot of reasons. The first was a not so small burning in my
bathroom. It destroyed my bathroom and put a lot of smoke in all my
house. My mother and I took almost 2 weeks to clean up everything (and
we still find dirty furniture every day). Eveybody is fine, but the
shower manufacturer is going to receive a legal process and will have
to pay by the damage. Anyway, It is almost solved.
I know that It is a bit outdated, but I just posted some photos from
the last Free Software International Forum, where I finally met "uncle
Runyan" and a lot of python and Zope friends. These photos, that I
didn't posted before duo the accident, are avaliable here. Some of
them are from me, Alan Runyan, Sidnei da Silva, Cristian Reis and
others, reading emails in the VIP area. My favorites are the pictures
where all the people are together. There are 2 pictures from my
lecture about ArchGenXML too.
In the last few days, I have been working hard in my thesis, to
terminate my university course. I finished it yesterday, when I
delivered the copies for my evaluation board. Now, I'm worried (but
only a bit) about the presentation, where I need to defend my
thesis. It will be next 6 of july. I believe that I will not have
problems, but... who knows ;-)
While things starts to be more sane, I'm trying to organize myself,
giving special atention to what I had to stop duo my university
studies. The first decision is: this year I go to Plone Conference
2. I'm planning some other trips, but I'm fucking tired... believe
me... I'm trying to save my mind first. So, don't expect miracles from
me, at least in the next 10 days (where I need to sleep more and work
a litle less).
