(This is really just an excuse, but) while I don't have anything against commenting systems on weblogs, particularily on my own, things like this make me a bit suspicious. (There are over 1000 spammer comments in that entry. I informed the weblog's owner about this, although I would guess that many others have done so already.) I wonder how many semi-abandoned weblogs there are that have old entries filled with spammers' links.

On a related note, I'm getting tired with email spam too. Although I use spambayes which classifies my mails pretty accurately, I still have to go through the spam folder once in a while. (No spam filtering system can guarantee that there will be no false positives.)

Blah.
