After some "slow" days, where I see a lot of people going on vacation,
things started to get back to normal. A good sign was one conversation
that I keep with an old friend about CMFCommerce.
To sumarize, We agree that the evil is always the time. OpenSource
does not work well without funds because of time. However, one point
get me a bit worried: why do we have 3 or 4 e-commerce solutions based
on Plone?
IMO, the point here is: all developers that were involved in
e-commerce implementations for Plone did some valuable work, but nome
of them were concerned in talk with other developers. Well... It was
an error that I don't want to do again.
Another good news is: Plone 2 is comming. Plone 2 RC 3 was released
yesterday. If everything goes fine, Plone 2 final will be released in
one week. The bad part is: I have to update the Plone translation pot
file for brazilian portuguese now. So... I need to go :-)
