Every cool CS book, like SICP I read has really neat quotes, and they are usually by this guy, Alan Perlis. He must've been a real luminary in the previous generation of computer scientists. I looked him up on Amazon, he wrote a couple of books, but they do not seem too relevant these days (one of them is on APL). Too bad, cause I would just read them for the quotes!

I just stumbled across a pretty exhaustive list of his quotes, and they are great! Enjoy.
