friend: help his current job and expnad his skills me: you should think about expanding your skill set too, unless you are scheming a carrer change... me: it helped me get the job I have now friend: i'm always scheming a carrer change friend: :-P friend: but i may want to expnad anyway friend: what do u recommend? friend: snaky? me: it's a very good start. it is very similar to C in the beginning, and you can get productive very quickly doing C-like programming; but as you get more comfortable/advanced very new/different/interesting/productive ways of programming open up. friend: sounds good me: It also has 'batteries included' - a ton of built-in libraries plus a ton that are easyly installed. friend: kool
